What are people saying about Love Storm?

LOVE STORM is another sexy and well-written paranormal ménage story. Series fans and new fans alike will love this book.

Sean, Charlie and Zoe have never met each other and live in different parts of the United States but they dream of each other. When the trio start coming down with strange tattoos and flu-like symptoms, the three know they’re bonding. Without knowing each other’s full names, Charlie starts a cross-country drive in hopes their bonding pheromones will draw the three together. But when fanatics capture Charlie and torture him for his unique blood, Zoe and Sean find each other and mount a rescue.

This is another great addition to the Dream Marked series. The paranormal world of a mysterious chemical, ‘Path, being released in the population and causing this bonding, is excellent. It’s very interesting, especially how each trio-bond has unique capabilities when they full bond, emotionally and sexually. The tension of fanatics hunting bond-mates down is sinister enough to provide lots of action. This suspense plot moves quickly and I flew through this great book.

Most importantly though, the romance is swoon-worthy. One huge thing I adore about Erin M. Leaf’s characters in this and the previous books is the maturity of the characters. Zoe, Charlie and Sean had full lives before bonding and they bring this life strength with them when they bond. None of them fight their feelings or the intensity, even Sean who didn’t think he was bisexual before the bonding. And the best part of this is that the trio don’t just come together because of sex (but oh is that there!) but because of how they connect emotionally. I love how the trio support each other and share problems and solutions. These characters don’t do stupid things and wonder why it doesn’t work out–and I loved that maturity.

I have been looking forward to LOVE STORM since I finished book two and I’m pleased to say the book lived up to my high expectations. Any ménage or paranormal romance reader will love this book and the entire series as I do.

Zoe thinks she’s being stalked in her dreams, Sean would just like to get close to his dream woman, and Charlie wants to take a vision quest. While dreaming Zoe, Sean and Charlie realize they are bonding but don’t remember much when they wake up.  They are three souls who live across the country from each other but are meeting in their dreams.

Will Zoe, Sean, and Charlie be able to meet in the real world? Will they be able to save Charlie from their enemy when they do?

Love Storm, the third book in the Dream Marked series by Erin M. Leaf, can be read as a standalone book but I don’t recommend it. I think this series is best enjoyed by reading the books in order as each book builds on the previous book and the reader will miss out on some of the subtleties in these books.

I love Ms. Leaf’s ability to give us well rounded characters who love each other equally. Zoe’s struggle to submit to the bonding, especially when she realizes her bond mates are younger than she is, was well written. Her decision to move beyond her fears had me cheering on the sidelines for her.

Sean’s struggle with the new flexibility in his sexuality was also well written. He was unsure but willing, especially when he realizes Charlie is in trouble.Charlie’s optimism and comfort in his own skin and bi-sexuality was quite the twist since he’s the youngest member of this trio.

Once again Ms. Leaf gives us a story which has smoking hot sex, real emotions, and a credible villain. I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the Dream Marked series and can’t wait to see where Ms. Leaf goes with this series next.
