From a short story I finished late Friday called Little Dove, which has already been accepted for publication! BDSM-lite, origami, and scarves:

He tore off a sheet and measured a perfect square, creasing and tearing until it was exact. Quickly, he folded it in half, then in half again. His fingers knew exactly what to do—he’d folded this origami bird a hundred times. When he had a perfect dove, he lifted it up so she could see it.

“It’s a bird,” she breathed.

He nodded, running the point of the dove’s beak over her jaw.
