Good news! –> My writer burnout is gone and I have two new stories coming out soon!

My newest short story is called Bendy, and it’s a major rewrite of an old story that appeared in the now out of print Lover Unexpected Anthology. I had a massive amount of fun rewriting this because I added soooo much snarky dialogue. I giggled all the way through this silly romantic comedy featuring two clueless best friends.

Bendy Cover

Straight guy (24M, photographer) tries to cheer up his straight best friend (24M, electrician) by talking about feelings…

What happens when Josh comes home to find his roommate and best friend, Ben, still moping around after his split with his girlfriend? Nothing good, because instead of doing the smart thing like getting Ben drunk and throwing darts at a wall, Josh decides to make Ben spill about the breakup.

The next thing he knows, their conversation about erectile dysfunction shifts into kissing. Turns out, Josh’s straight is a little bit bendy, and Ben’s straight is about as rigid as rubber band. Ending up in bed together isn’t what Josh expected, but who could blame him? Ben is hot as hell and twice as needy, and he’s a sucker for a man who doesn’t quite know what he wants but is willing to jump with him into just about anything.

My next bit of good news? I have a full-length novel coming out soon! It’s loosely set in the same universe as Magic Never Lies and yes, it features a rock star, one of my favorite tropes.

Rowan Clementine, rock star and closet bisexual, is stuck in a songwriting rut. He needs a new hit so his label doesn’t sue, but he can’t make a melody to save his life. He hasn’t been able to write in years, actually. So, when his producer slaps some hot young songwriter’s work down in front of him, what’s a guy to do? Give in gracefully? Not a chance.

Jesse Rhodes is a closet songwriter, even though he’s out and proud everywhere else in his life. So, what happens when his bff sends off his music to a producer who wants his songs for Rowan Clementine, rock star extraordinaire? Cue a freakout! Because Jesse used to know Rowan once upon a time when they were both boys, but he’s sure the singer has forgotten him. Or has he? There’s only one way to find out…

I hope you are all doing well. Sending you virtual hugs through the web.
