Blake Gerritt has been done with music and fame for years. He’s happy with his anonymous life in an ordinary town in the middle of nowhere. He raised his sister after their parents died, and he’s no longer looking for more. Even the simmering magic in his blood has faded and he’s cool with that—he’s too old for falling in love anyway.

Aaron Wade is young and rich and miserable, even though millions love his songs. He knows he should be happy, especially since his bigoted jerk of a father is finally dead, but he can’t focus anymore. He can’t sleep. A small town in the middle of rural America is just the cure he needs to get back on track with his life, alone. Or so he thinks…

What happens when love comes out of nowhere? Do you let yourself fall or do you refuse the magic that could change everything?

Story Excerpt:

“We hardly know each other. I could be some crazed stalker fan.” Blake leaned down and seized both of Aaron’s wrists, dragging him upright, and Aaron suddenly realized that Blake had at least four inches on him, not to mention quite a bit of body mass. His muscled form pressed all along Aaron’s body, and he shivered, trying to remember that this guy was his mailman. And at least a decade older than him. Neither of those things is bad, his libido whispered in the back of his head. In fact, both of those things are very good, his inner kink whispered, in total agreement with his libido.

“I could be someone dangerous,” Blake said, voice going low. “Someone crazy.”

“But you’re not,” Aaron said, playing with fire as per usual. He’d been famous long enough to recognize the glow of crazy in some fans’ eyes, and Blake’s didn’t have it, although dangerous wasn’t out of the question. He allowed a flirty smile to twist his lips. He liked Blake’s edgy side. He liked it a lot. He wanted more.

“Tell me to stop,” Blake growled, kicking a leg in between Aaron’s thighs. “Tell me to stop and I will.”

Aaron rolled his eyes as heat spread through him. Like hell was he going to say that. Blake was strong and hot and vibrating with energy. “No,” he said before he could even consider saying something more conciliatory. Blake’s nostrils flared, and Aaron had just enough time to think, shit, he’s solid, before the man’s lips were on his.

Aaron gasped, because Blake sure as hell didn’t fuck around. He bit Aaron’s lower lip, hard, then sucked away the burn even as he somehow maneuvered him backwards to the counter. Then, he slid his tongue inside Aaron’s mouth as he boxed him in, arms on either side. Aaron couldn’t move even if he wanted to. And I don’t want to because I love it. He’d never had a guy so self-assured touch him. Everyone always expected him to take the lead, and Blake’s strength was a major turn-on. Aaron groaned under his breath as Blake’s hard-on pressed into his hip. For a man who’d never dated another guy before, Blake certainly wasn’t shy about what he wanted.

“Dangerous enough for you?” Blake asked him, hazel eyes bright with lust and something else. Something Aaron had never seen before. “You like playing with fire?”

“Fuck,” Aaron said aloud, trying not to grind his cock against the hard body pinning him in place. Blake had never been with a dude before, and he really didn’t want to scare him off before anything even happened. Though, he really doesn’t seem scared, does he? Aaron thought as Blake kissed him again, until neither of them could breathe. When he leaned back, Aaron sucked in much-needed air. Blake’s hair was mussed. He looked sexy as hell and not at all unsure about what he was doing. “Jesus,” Aaron croaked, lips tingling. He wanted more.

“I’m not a boy, Aaron,” Blake said as he nipped him again. His voice had gone low and rumbly. “You may be my first guy, but I know what I like.” He leaned in and whispered against the hollow beneath Aaron’s ear. “I like your voice.”

“Fucking hell,” Aaron exclaimed, hands gripping Blake’s shoulders. “You can’t just say something like that.”

Blake laughed, and the sound of it sent shivers down Aaron’s spine. “You want me to stop?”

“I should be asking you that,” Aaron retorted, hands going to Blake’s hair. He couldn’t resist. It had just enough length for him to sink his fingers in, and he indulged. “God, you have great hair.”

“I heard you cut yours. And that the legions of your fangirls are going to have a collective heart attack when they find out,” Blake said, doing a slow grind against Aaron’s body. He slid his hands up Aaron’s arms until they were at his scalp. Blake massaged the short hair, and Aaron barely resisted the urge to purr as he writhed with delight. “Hmm. I like it short. The fangirls will just have to deal,” Blake said, fingers running along Aaron’s skull.

“They’ll get over it,” Aaron managed. The way Blake moved had a way of derailing his ability to speak.

“I like it like this. There’s just enough left to hold onto.” Blake slid one hand into Aaron’s short locks, and set the other on the small of his back. The heat of his palm felt like a brand. “Tell me if I’m moving too fast, rock star.”

Fast? Is he serious? Aaron didn’t know where the hell Blake had been in the past decade, or what he’d done in his life, but he sure as hell didn’t understand what gay meant. Most guys didn’t ask so many questions. Most guys were happy enough to suck and screw and then go on their way the next morning. “You can fuck me,” Aaron said, fully expecting Blake to say no, because Blake wasn’t ‘most guys.’ Aaron might not know exactly what was happening here, but he knew enough to realize that this thing between them wasn’t ordinary.

Sure enough, Blake froze. “Sex,” he said flatly. His lips pursed, as if he’d taken a bite of a particularly sour fruit.

“Sex, yeah,” Aaron said, pressing his fingers into the back of the older man’s neck. Heat sizzled along his fingertips. Isn’t that why we’re here? he thought, enjoying the way Blake’s erection still pushed into him, even as the guy mentally backed off. “Sure,” He said, wishing ‘no’ wasn’t what he was seeing in Blake’s expression. “Please.” Never hurt to be polite, right? But Blake stepped back anyway, and Aaron groaned aloud, even though he’d expected the retreat. “Seriously? You’re stopping now?”

Once upon a time … I wrote MMF

And I still do!

Menage was my first love when I began writing romance, and something about it still appeals to my naughty side.

My very first book, The First Time Is the Sweetest, was written with that feeling you get when you first meet someone, and you know you have a crush. And THEN, I added a second guy, and that crazy, feverish longing multiplied itself, and my first menage romance was born! 😀

However, my favorite MMF so far still remains Bitter Bite. I have a bit of a fetish around forbidden love, and I loved writing about an innocent young woman, an ex-priest, and a sexy, centuries-old vampire.

Alaric Normand is a solitary predator, so when he meets a man who kindles long-dormant emotions, he dismisses the attraction. What does he need with a lover? A consort bond spells nothing but vulnerability for a vampire who’s been alone for five centuries.

Ex-priest Gideon Keegan has lost his faith, so when he witnesses a supernatural killing, how does he accept the reality of evil? And why does he feel attraction for such a violent individual, especially when he’s already in love with someone else?

Everyone thinks Hannah Ward is an innocent, but she knows the truth: she’s done terrible things, and so she hides her affection for Gideon. She isn’t worthy of love, yet when a handsome stranger kisses her she falls hard, despite her sense that something is wrong. How can she have feelings for two men at once? Must she choose between the dark and the light?

Evernight – Amazon – Bookstrand – Smashwords – Barnes & Noble – iTunes

My next favorite MMF novel is You Taste So Sweet. Why? Because ZOMBIES. I have a thing for zombie films and stories, and this novel was a blast to write. The title is a pun! (Don’t worry, the zombies are evil and disgusting, and the heroes are good men, not the walking undead).

When a meteor explodes over Atlanta, infecting the world with a virus that turns people into zombies, Lark knows survival will be difficult. Her roommate and best friend insists that her father and his best friend will come and save them, but Lark isn’t sure if she wants to put her life into the hands of strangers. Unfortunately, when the zombies come, she may have no choice. And when Ben and Dillon break into their dorm in the nick of time, Lark finds herself reevaluating her insistence on independence.

Tragedy brings them together. The fight to survive creates a bond stronger than blood in a few short days. What’s a girl to do when faced with the zombie apocalypse? Does she trust in the two men she knows will keep her alive, or does she strike out on her own?

Evernight – Amazon – BookStrand – Smashwords – Barnes & Noble – Kobo

I also love sci-fi, and you know what that means, right? Another of my MMF novels starts off simple, with a knitting needle (of course!) and ends up in space! Joyful Devastation is a hell of a romp.

No one expects an alien invasion, least of all Dr. Bea Morgan, and especially not on the day she meets the man of her dreams. Wait, no, the men of her dreams. Two sexy officers in her ER is surprising, but when they steal a kiss from her on a broken elevator, everything changes.

Gideon Cearvall has been dreaming of a faraway desert tower his entire life, but he’s learned to put aside childhood fantasies. He’s a good cop with a great partner who considers him family. So what if he’s in love with his best friend? Theo will never know.

Theo Gray adores his family and his partner. He’s perfectly happy—until he meets the curvy doctor who rocks his world. When a kiss turns into a fight for survival, he struggles with his desire for both Gideon and Bea.

When aliens devastate your world, love is all that will keep you alive.

My latest menage is a shifter novel, because I somehow keep coming back to shifters. Do shifters ever get old? I don’t think so. 😀 Queen Wolf has a fabulous, spunky heroine. I love her.

Avery is resigned to solitude. She can’t shift, she’s overweight, and her ex cheated on her, but when Alpha Fletcher and his best friend, Mitch, return to Boulder Pack after years of traveling, she’s shocked at how much she wants them.

Fletcher doesn’t expect to meet his mate within moments of coming home, but he and Mitch are nothing if not adaptable. Avery makes their beasts howl with need, but can she accept two wolves instead of one? Triad mates haven’t been allowed in ages.

Mitch is happy to bond with Avery and Fletcher—he has room in his heart for two mates. What he isn’t happy with is Avery’s father threatening her, and making her doubt her worth. Avery is a Queen, but she has no idea what that means. Will instinct be enough to push them together, or will Mitch and Fletcher need more drastic measures to convince Avery that she’s their destiny?

Chance encounters and love… is it possible?

Many moons ago I was obsessed with MMF (menage romance), and I wrote three novellas based on the idea of chance encounters. I had a ton of fun writing these novels, because sometimes you don’t fall in love, you stumble over it again and again. You just gotta open up your heart and let the idea of it settle inside you. And yes, that means that sometimes you need to look a little beyond the standard romance trope. Sometimes you can fall in love with two people, not just one. Sometimes you can fall for two people at the same time!

The Four-Letter Word series is all about taking a chance when a chance encounter convinces the girl that the universe is trying to tell her something. Don’t worry, you can read these books out of order, so feel free to pick and choose at will!

Take a chance…

The Romance Reviews loved THE CABIN!

“Whilst not as quick as The Elevator, this story is nevertheless a quick one, fast-paced and punchy, just like I would expect from this author. It is well written, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. The bulk of the story with Flynn and Beau is set over one night, although there is a time lapse at the end.

I am thoroughly enjoying these books, even if the cynical side of me is snorting at the insta-love! Definitely recommended by me.”

Flynn is having a terrible day—his fiancée jilted him at the altar and now he’s alone on his honeymoon. Going to a wilderness resort by himself was probably not his best idea, but then artist Beau Green arrives to make everything even more complicated. A reservation mistake and stormy weather means the charismatic black man is out of options for the night, but Flynn can’t let someone sleep on a cold floor when there’s a perfectly good sofa in his cabin. When the power dies, Flynn ends up on the sofa, too, because there’s only one fireplace, and freezing is not part of his plan for the day.

Also not planned? Having sex with a dude, but Beau is everything his ex is not—kind, strong, and intelligent. Unfortunately, Flynn is straight, and falling for a man might be one disaster too many for him to handle.

Story Excerpt:

“If the way you’re looking at me is any indication, you seem like you had no idea that you might be the kind of man who leans the other direction,” Beau said softly. “So to speak.”

Flynn stared at him. “I’ve never really thought about it.” He wouldn’t disrespect a guy who had been nothing but kind to him by acting like he didn’t know what Beau was talking about. And it’s not like I can afford to make him angry. We’re stuck in this cabin together. He glanced away. The sleet hadn’t let up. He’d be amazed if there weren’t trees down by morning.

Beau sat up. “I’m not against being your gay experiment.”

Flynn’s gaze flew back to Beau as his mouth went bone dry. “I’m not into pity fucks,” he lied. He so totally didwant a pity fuck after this stupid day. His cockwanted a pity fuck. His hands twitched. It took everything he had in him to keep reclining on the sofa like Beau’s suggestion was no big deal.

“Oh, Flynn. It wouldn’t be a pity fuck for me,” Beau said, voice going low and soft. “You’re a fine-looking man.” He reached out and put a finger on Flynn’s arm, then slid it down until he reached his fingertips.

Flynn’s heart banged against his ribs. How could such an innocuous touch feel so damned hot? He licked his lips as he shifted uncomfortably. He wanted that finger on his erection so badly he couldn’t keep still. “I don’t know what to say.” He glanced away. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”

Beau laughed. “Me? I know exactly what I’m doing.”

“I’m on the rebound. That’s what this is,” Flynn said quickly. He could barely recall what Darlene looked like. And he had no memory of what she tasted like, but he bet Beau tasted like sin. And regret.

“I don’t care. I like you.” Beau leaned closer. The intensity of his gaze pinned Flynn to the sofa. He couldn’t move even if he tried. “You a good man, Flynn, but you’re all mixed up. I can help clear some shit up for you.”

Flynn held perfectly still as Beau moved his finger down his hip to his leg, but when the man put his palm flat on his thigh, he couldn’t stop the moan. “Shit. What are you doing to me?”

“I’m not doing a damned thing.” Beau sat back up and lifted his hand away. “Yet.” He pulled the blanket off of Flynn. “You need to tell me yes, or this all stops here.”

Flynn shuddered. He couldn’t think straight anymore. Am I really contemplating this? As if from a long way off, he heard himself speak. “Yes.”

Beau grinned. “Thank fuck.” He stood up and stripped off his shirt. Tiny silver barbells winked out at Flynn from his nipples. His erection poked out his sweatpants.

“Holy shit, you’re pierced,” Flynn said, staring. The man looked liked a damned cover model. His gaze dropped to Beau’s cock. Even from here, and even with the dim lighting, he could tell the guy was well endowed. He thought of anal sex and couldn’t hide his wince as he struggled up to a seated position. There was no way he was up for having that thing anywhere near his butthole. No way, no how.

“Don’t you worry. We’re not going straight for the full monty,” Beau said, clearly amused. He dropped to his knees.

“How do you know what I’m thinking?” Flynn asked him. His voice cracked.

“You’re thinking the same thing every guy who first sets eyes on me thinks.” Beau reached out and pulled Flynn down. “Don’t stress. I know what I’m doing.”

Flynn couldn’t look away from those eyes. “I hope so.”

Instead of responding, Beau kissed him. At the first touch of his lips, Flynn gasped. Beau licked inside, and Flynn realized that he’d never, ever really been kissed before. Oh sure, he’d kissed Darlene, and a couple other girlfriends, but he’d never experienced this … this volcano of arousal. He groaned and slid his hands up to cup Beau’s head. The small dreadlocks under his palms were soft and springy. Beau smiled against his mouth and kissed him again, not holding back.

“Oh, fuck me,” Flynn breathed, when Beau finally let him up for air. He gripped the larger man’s biceps, digging his fingers into muscle. Beau wasn’t like any woman he’d ever touched. He was hard and impossibly overwhelming.

“No, I’m not going to fuck you,” Beau said, biting down Flynn’s jaw. “You’re going to fuck me.”

At those words, Flynn tried to inhale and ended up wheezing. “Jesus, Beau. You sure don’t hold back, do you?”

“What would be the point of that?” Beau climbed up and over Flynn, settling his thighs on either side of his hips. “Don’t be afraid.”

How does he know what I’m feeling? Flynn wondered, but then Beau kissed him again and all rational thought fled. Beau kissed the way some people jumped off cliffs: all in, drunk on adrenaline. Or maybe that’s just me. Maybe that’s just what it feels like to kiss this man. To kiss Beau, Flynn mused, hips jerking. His erection met Beau’s considerable weight, and he couldn’t resist screwing his body up harder. “God, what is this?”

“This, my friend, is harmony,” Beau murmured, moving down until his lips were at Flynn’s hip. He knelt up, pulling Flynn’s shirt off with one, smooth motion.

“What an extremely intriguing beginning of a series. I suspect that more worldbuilding will be exposed in future stories and I’m excited to see what it all comes to. The plot of a deviant group of Crafters isn’t a new trope but I believe this author will make the most of it. I adored Theo and Guy and I hope their story continues. If a new couple is to be introduced next, then I hope I get to see these two men I came to care for. I’m super jazzed to see what the future brings!”

Guy Keaton doesn’t want a hookup or a soulmate or anything in between. When he lost his wife to cancer, he knew he’d be alone for the rest of his life. He has a grown son, and his woodshop, and in a world where those born with powerful gifts are few and far between, that’s all that really matters.

Theo Fraser’s empathic gift is rare and strong. He isn’t looking for love, but when he meets Guy, everything changes, because he knows that when you find your soulmate, you hold on tight and don’t let go. The only problem is that Guy thinks he’s straight, and Theo doesn’t know if he can convince a man already set in his ways to change his mind.

Will Guy be able to give up his grief and accept Theo’s love? And what happens when a terrible betrayal forces them to fight to keep each other alive?

Story Excerpt:

“You seem very sure I’m bisexual.” Guy put his hands in his pockets.

Theo paused on the trail. He could see the trailhead just up ahead. “Aren’t you?”

Guy looked at him. “I was married for a long time.”

“That’s not an answer.” Theo took a risk and stepped closer. “I know a great way for you to find out for sure.” He ignored the little voice in his head that was telling him not to be an impulsive idiot. He looked back down the trail and waved a “wait” signal to the two bodyguards trailing them. Julio had already reached the trailhead, and Theo knew he was checking out the car. They were as alone as they were going to get right now. And it’s just a kiss. It’s not like we’re going to have sex in the middle of a hiking trail.

“How?” Guy asked, sounding wary.

“I kiss you right here, right now. If you like it, you’re bi. If you don’t, you’re not.” Theo waited, knowing even as the words left his mouth that nothing in life was as simple as what he’d just suggested. He knew that even if Guy enjoyed the kiss, there would be some serious questions for his soulmate to wade through before he came out the other side. Guy had just spent most of his life thinking he was straight, and denying the feelings that were buried deep all along. And I know firsthand that it isn’t easy to change beliefs you hold onto too tightly, Theo mused, thinking of his parents. He shook off the bad memories. Now was not the time to dredge up that emotional shitstorm.

“That’s crazy,” Guy said, half smiling, and half looking like a man about to run for the hills. “You could be a shitty kisser.”

Theo smirked. Guy hadn’t said no. “I’m an Empath. I’m incapable of being a shitty kisser.”

Guy laughed, as Theo had intended. “So the rumors about Empaths are true? They’re great in bed?”

Theo didn’t reply. He let his silence speak for him.

Guy ran a hand over the back of his neck. “This is crazy,” he muttered, repeating himself.

Theo’s cock swelled as he sensed Guy’s tentative arousal. And fear. Don’t forget the fear, he thought, as his power instinctively reached out to his soulmate. Guy was the one person in the world he would never be able to block out. He sensed Guy’s attraction to him, and his anxiety, as well as his bone-deep weariness with being sad. The relaxation he’d felt just a little while ago on the trail lingered, too.

“Yeah, okay. What the hell,” Guy said, stepping closer. “What’s the worst that could happen?”

Theo grinned. “You sound like a man trying to decide if he should try out a new taco, not a kiss.”

“It’s just as terrifying,” Guy replied instantly. “You never know when a taco could be harboring one of those insanely hot peppers. I could get burned.”

Theo reached out and put a hand on Guy’s shoulder, willing him to relax. “I’m not a habanero, Guy,” Theo murmured.

“You might as well be,” Guy said, his voice catching.

Theo moved his hand from Guy’s shoulder to his cheek. “Shh.”

Guy’s eyes widened.

Theo put his thumb on Guy’s lips and sensed a sudden spike in the older man’s arousal. Here goes nothing, he thought, just before he leaned in and kissed his soulmate for the first time.

****

Guy froze as Theo’s lips touched his. Theo’s mouth was soft and expressive, and so damned hot he thought he might go up in flames if he moved even an inch. He stood there, trying to figure out what the hell was wrong with him, when suddenly his Craft power lit up through his body. Energy rushed through him, and he reached out to grab Theo’s arms. He meant to push him away, but he found himself clutching at the younger man as if he were a life raft and Guy was drowning.

“Easy,” Theo murmured against his mouth.

“Fuck.” Guy kissed him back, searching for … what? He had no idea. All he knew was that he’d never felt so damned aroused in his life. His cock shoved against his pants, hard and hot and insistent. He groaned when Theo slid his hands into his hair and kissed him again, licking into his mouth with intent. They were the same height, so Guy didn’t have to crane his neck down the way he’d had to in order to kiss Pamela. It was strange. Hot. More than that, though, he felt unbalanced. Confused.

Theo gentled the kiss and pulled back. “There.”

There? Who was the man kidding? Guy stared at him. Was Theo as stunned as he was? The younger man’s mouth looked red and slightly swollen. I did that to him, Guy thought, and then, But I’m straight.

“Dammit,” Theo muttered, and then he stepped closer and kissed Guy again.

This time, Theo pressed himself up against Guy’s torso, and for the first time in his life, Guy felt another man’s hard-on against his hip. “Jesus,” he gasped, unable to stop his body’s instinctive thrust forward. He grabbed Theo’s arms again, absently reveling in the man’s strength, and pulled him closer. “What the fuck is happening?”

Theo answered by biting Guy’s lower lip.

Guy moaned into Theo’s mouth, and walked them back until the younger man’s body hit the sturdy oak tree at the edge of the trail. Guy’s Craft flared again, and the tree shuddered as his energy hit it, but then Theo slid his tongue into his mouth and he didn’t care about anything except the younger man coaxing him to open himself wide. He did, and Theo bit him again. Guy’s erection swelled, and he gasped. He slid his hands down Theo’s arms to his hips.

“Oh, God,” Theo said, head thunking back against the tree as Guy pushed into him.

Mitch stopped just behind Fletcher. He stared for a moment at the woman backlit by the window. He could tell she was curvy. He could tell she had serious muscles under the curves. And he could tell she had grey eyes, because they were practically glowing as she looked at him and Fletcher, but he could not, for the life of him, figure out what the hell his wolf thought he was doing. The beast howled like the full moon was about to fall in on them, and his fucking heart felt that way, too. When he realized that Fletcher wasn’t able to move, he reached back and shut the door. He didn’t give a shit if this was the Alpha’s suite. Right now, he didn’t want an audience for the arousal that rocketed through him.

“Nine years is a hell of a long time,” Fletcher said.

Mitch didn’t know how he got his voice to work. He inhaled, and the scent of her—floral and musk combined—drove all rational thought out of his head. He growled under his breath as his cock shoved hard against the placket of his jeans.

Fletcher twitched, and Mitch clamped his mouth shut. He didn’t trust himself to speak right now.

“Nine years ago, I was sixteen,” the woman said, and Mitch abruptly realized who she was. Avery Tate. Paige’s best friend, his brain told him. His wolf didn’t care. The beast wanted out.The beast wanted her.

Fletcher reached out his arm, pushing against Mitch’s chest as if to ground him. Mitch exhaled, sensing Fletcher’s Alpha power slide into him like a warm, familiar hand. A bit of his normal calm returned, thank fuck. “Avery,” he said, voice so low he barely recognized himself.

Avery turned her brilliant light eyes on him, and he almost stepped back when he saw the power floating in her gaze. She’s a Queen,he thought, shocked, and then, She’s ourQueen. He reached up and gripped Fletcher’s wrist, pressing his fingertips into his best friend’s bones.

Fletcher didn’t even flinch. He glanced at Mitch, and the knowledge in his expression told him that they were on the same page.

“Mitch,” Avery replied. Her gaze shifted back to Fletcher. “And Fletcher.” She licked her lips, and Mitch felt the rumble of Fletcher’s growl on his skin. “Welcome home. It’s been a very long time.”

Fletcher dropped his arm and strode forward. Avery stepped back, but there was nowhere for her to go. Her back was at the window. Mitch followed his Alpha and stopped just as Fletcher sank his hands into Avery’s long, red hair. She gasped, eyes flashing silver, and Mitch felt her desire like a punch in the gut. She was just as aroused as they were.

“You’re all grown up,” Fletcher said to Avery. He jerked his head, short and sharp, and Mitch knew Fletcher wanted him to move in on Avery’s other side. He did as Fletcher asked, not needing words, and put his hand on Avery’s shoulder. Her skin was so hot it burned his palm, but his wolf liked it. The creature snarled, and Mitch sucked in a hard breath, fighting to keep himself from just grabbing her and throwing her down on the floor where they could fuck her easier.

Dear God, help me,he thought, half shocked by his thoughts, but also grateful. He hadn’t been able to have sex in over a year, and this woman obviously had something that both he and Fletcher needed. He didn’t mind sharing. Hell, he wantedto share with Fletcher. He neededit. He could already feel the tenuous thread that tied them together strengthening. This woman is a catalyst,he realized, but he had no idea how or why her, instead of any of the other women he and Fletcher had tried to hook up with.

Avery blinked, but astonishingly, didn’t try to get away from Fletcher’s grip. “Yes. I’m twenty-five now.”

“Thank God,” Fletcher said, and then he dipped his head and kissed her.

****

Avery froze, stunned when Fletcher just leaned down and kissed her, as if it were perfectly normal to kiss a woman you’d just met again after nearly a decade apart. She hadn’t minded the hands in her hair, or Mitch’s hand on her shoulder, because the touch soothed her wolf in some unfathomable fashion, and she wasn’t about to complain when the prickles in her skin calmed down. However, the kiss was another thing altogether. She lifted her hands, about to push him away, and then his tongue slipped into her mouth and all rational thought fled her skull.

Oh my God, he tastes like the wind, she thought absurdly, and then Mitch pressed up against her side, and she turned her head, gasping. Before she could take a breath, hekissed her, too. He tasted like a storm, all roiling clouds and lightning, and she realized that the two men tasted the same. She wrenched her head back, and stared at them in shock. “Oh my God. What’s happening?” She had neverfelt this way with Brian. Or anyone, for that matter.

“I have no fucking idea,” Fletcher said, staring with those golden eyes as if he could see into her soul.

Avery reached up and tugged her hair away from his fists, then moved so that Mitch’s hand fell away. Her wolf immediately howled again, and she flinched, feeling behind her for the window. She knew there was a small balcony of some sort just below this suite, and she knew she could survive the jump down. But I’m not sure I can survive another second with the two of them, she thought, panicking. How could Paige have been so right about her wanting Fletcher? And Mitch? How could her wolf suddenly go crazy, pushing her to want things she shouldn’t? She wasn’t anyone important. She couldn’t even shift. She wouldn’t bring anything helpful to the pack. Heirs usually married the daughters of Alphas, or Betas, and quite often, the pairings were politically motivated. She was nobody. I have to go,she thought, as fear speared through her arousal.

“Avery—” Mitch said, reaching out.

“I’m sorry,” she murmured, and then she let herself twist backwards and down, rolling onto her feet as she landed. She risked a quick glance up—Fletcher and Mitch stared down at her—and then she pushed off and ran away.

The Romance Reviews loved SOULMATE! 5 stars!

“There is so much to enjoy in this book – political machinations, assassination attempts, trees being re-shaped, soul-rings, I could go on. This is a gorgeous gay-for-you (sort of) story that absolutely fulfills my sappy romantic side. There were no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading, and the scenes flowed nicely from one to the next.

This is only the first book, and I can’t wait for more. Absolutely recommended by me!”

When Zero Graham wakes up in the hospital, he has only one thing on his mind: revenge on the mastermind who shot him and trashed his home. He’s the best fixer in the business, and that means he has a reputation to uphold.

Julian Amon doesn’t want to check up on his mother’s patient, but he can’t say no to her, and he finds the older man intriguingly hot. His decision to tag along when Zero checks himself out of the hospital borders on crazy, but the older man interests him, and Julian has always enjoyed a good mystery.

Zero doesn’t want or need a babysitter, but Julian’s physical competence and lack of fear push all of his buttons in exactly the right way. Violence is his kink, and the younger man doesn’t seem to mind the scent of blood, but will Julian be able to handle the pressure when Zero closes in on his enemy?

What are people saying about The Fixer?

Manic Readers — 4 stars!

“This story by Ms. Leaf is well written and enjoyable.  I enjoyed returning to this world and look forward to more in the future.”

Story Excerpt:

Zero couldn’t help it. He leaned in and cupped Julian’s cheeks. Fine auburn stubble pricked his palms. He loved it. “Darling, how enterprising of you,” he murmured. He really liked this man. Julian’s delightful combination of youthful innocence married to a startling level of self-confidence flat out did it for him. Instead of jerking his head away from Zero’s hands, Julian’s skin heated more. Zero watched while the younger man’s face flushed a deeper pink. “Lovely,” he murmured.

“What the hell, Zero?” Julian stared at him.

Aw, fuck it. Zero moved closer, crowding Julian up against the bathroom door. It didn’t take much movement to pin the younger man there. His motorhome might be a luxury model, but it was still a small space for two large men. “Are you quite certain you want to stay here with me, Julian?” he asked, giving the man one last exit possibility. “I can’t guarantee that you will remain innocent under my care.”

“Innocent?” Julian laughed. “I’m not innocent, and neither am I in your care. For the last time, I’m a grown man. I choose where I want to be.” Julian leaned into Zero’s touch, eyes going heavy lidded. “You keep making the assumption that I don’t know what I want.” He put his hands on Zero’s wrists. “I’m bisexual. I’ve never been in anyone’s closet, let alone my own. Stop pretending that you’re in charge of my life, Zero.”

Arousal slammed into Zero, despite his exhaustion. Most men looked at his size and ran the other way. The ones who liked their lovers big ran away when they discovered Zero’s brain was just as impressive as the rest of his body. Julian, however, hadn’t shied away even once. Delight warred with the violence Zero worked so hard to keep in check. He wanted to grind himself into Julian until they were both dirty and aching. Zero hummed under his breath, and leaned in. “I’m going to kiss you now. And you’re going to like it.”

“So much talk,” Julian whispered, but Zero’s mouth shut him up.

****

Julian froze the moment Zero’s lips touched his. Instead of devouring him, Zero coaxed him open gently. Instead of biting, Zero licked and nibbled until Julian’s need for a solid touch burned through him. He yanked Zero closer, groaning when the man’s heavy body pressed him to the wall. “Fuck, Zero. Stop with the teasing.”

Zero lifted his head. “Oh, but teasing can lead to such delightful things, Julian.”

Julian answered by biting Zero’s bottom lip. “You talk too much.” He knew he was asking for trouble by hooking up with a guy recovering from a gunshot wound, who also had a lot of unfinished and probably illegal business to deal with, but fuck if he cared right now. He wanted Zero. He hadn’t felt this revved up by a simple kiss, like, ever. So what if I get myself in trouble? I gotta live my life, right? He licked inside, chasing the fading taste of beer on Zero’s breath.

Zero shuddered, hands going around Julian’s neck. He threaded his fingers up into Julian’s hair. “Mmmm. You taste like a very, very bad idea.”

Julian groaned, then ground his cock into Zero’s hip. “Don’t overthink this, Zero. We could have a good time together.” He wasn’t a small man, and he knew he was in fantastic shape, but his lean muscles were no match for Zero’s bulky frame. Decades of some kind of weight lifting had given Zero enough mass to shoulder his way through just about anything. He locked one hand in Julian’s hair, and then he used the other to jerk Julian closer. Julian let him. Hell, Julian liked it.

“Someday we’re going to fuck and nothing will be the same ever again,” Zero murmured.

“Promises, promises.” Julian smirked, grinding against Zero until his dick hurt with the pressure. “You feel like a guy in need of some relief.”

“Fuck.” Zero’s eloquence seemed to have completely deserted him. Julian let Zero manhandle him down the hall to the master bedroom.

“You’re going to get us both killed,” Zero muttered, muscles bulging as he moved.

“But what a sweet way to die,” Julian replied, not giving a shit about Zero’s paranoia. “You talk too much.” He inhaled, catching a hint of the man he knew lay under all the hospital scents.

Zero grunted, lips busy along Julian’s jawline. “You don’t know what you’re fucking with.”

“I know you’re going to fuck up your incisions if you keep that up,” Julian said when Zero shoved him up against yet another wall.

“Shut up.” Zero kissed him again, savagely this time.

When the kiss ended, Julian gasped for air. “We definitely doing this then?” he asked, trying to get his bearings.

Zero stared at him, dark eyes gone black with lust. “You better be very sure, my dear.”

Contract killer Felix Zamaro isn’t looking for love—at his age, all he wants to do is retire. When he interrupts a robbery-in-progress, he stumbles into a mess: Nick Banner is in town to help his sister kick her loser boyfriend to the curb.

Nick never thought he’d meet a hot-as-hell assassin in the middle of a random coffee run, but watching Felix take down a couple of thieves in a crappy gas station has him questioning his rule against playing with straight guys.

When Felix’s next mark turns out to be none other than the boyfriend of Nick’s sister, all hell breaks loose. When Nick moves into the house next door to Felix, both men think fate is messing with them. However, it’s Nick’s unexpected career choice that really throws Felix off his game, and for a killer, that could be a fatal mistake.

What are people saying about The Nullifier?

Redz World — 5 stars!

“This story was a well written quick read and I can’t wait to see where Ms. Leaf will take us in this new world.”

Story Excerpt:

“Can’t sleep?” Nick murmured, rolling over.

Felix grunted. What the fuck was wrong with him? Just the sound of Nick’s low, sleepy voice sparked another surge of heat.

“Still trying to convince yourself that you’re straight?” Nick asked, sounding more awake.

Felix frowned, head turning towards Nick. “What the hell are you talking about?”

Nick sighed, pushing the covers down to his waist. “I’ve seen you looking at me.”

Felix sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. “I’m going out to walk the perimeter.”

Before he could stand up, Nick’s hand landed on his shoulder. “No, you’re not.” His voice was low and soft. Unthreatening.

Felix’s muscles tightened anyway. Nick’s hand was warm and heavy. His training told him that he could grab Nick’s wrist and break his elbow, or twist him around and rip out his throat, but the strange tension flaring through his body wouldn’t let him move. “You don’t want to do this, Nick,” he said, gritting his teeth.

“Do what?” Nick pulled him back down to the mattress. “Touch you? Make you feel good?” He pressed Felix’s wrists down, hard.

Felix flexed his biceps. In the dark, Nick was a dark shape looming over him. Instead of fear, or anger, Felix’s emotions jumped wildly from arousal to confusion. “I could break your neck.”

“That knowledge just makes it sweeter,” Nick murmured.

“Makes what sweeter?” Felix asked, voice raspy. He couldn’t seem to breathe right. Is this a panic attack? he asked himself. He’d never experienced anything like this. His entire life had been a systematic observation of facts and rational decisions. Nothing much bothered him—not killing, not violence, not sex. Boredom was a problem, but he certainly wasn’t fucking bored at the moment. I’m screwed, he thought, still not throwing Nick’s ass to the floor.

“This,” Nick said, leaning down and kissing the side of Felix’s jaw. “Jesus, you smell good.”

Felix flexed his arms, pushing up against Nick. “Stop. You know I’m straight.”

“Make me.” Nick moved his lips down Felix’s shoulder and pressed his lips to the crook of his elbow.

Felix froze. He couldn’t breathe. Couldn’t think.

“You’re not straight, and you don’t want me to stop, Felix,” Nick said, and then he bit the soft skin of his arm.

Felix groaned. Just that one sharp touch brought him right to the edge. “Fuck.” His hips strained upwards as his balls drew into his body. His cock hurt.

“No, no fucking yet. Tonight, I’m going to blow you.” Nick shoved down Felix’s sweatpants and took his cock in his hand. “I can’t wait to suck you off. I bet you’ll try and keep quiet. I bet I can make you come so hard you won’t know where you are anymore.”

“Jesus Christ.” Felix gripped the sheets. He’d never wanted a mouth on his dick so bad before. Nick’s voice had him shaking. “What the hell are you doing to me?”

Nick chuckled. “I’m not doing anything yet.” He leaned in and blew along Felix’s erection. “This isn’t just about me, straight boy. This is about you. You’ve suppressed your sexuality for so long that you don’t have a damn clue about what you like and don’t like. You’ve been fucking the wrong gender your whole life.”

“Screw you. I’ve been straight for decades. I’ve fucked plenty of women,” Felix ground out, not wanting to admit how hot Nick’s touch made him. You’re going to eat your words, a small voice in the back of his head told him.

Nick slid his thumb over the top of Felix’s erection and rubbed the pre-cum welling from the tip in a tight circle. “And every one of those women left you empty. Missing something. I bet you haven’t even bothered to pick someone up for the past few years. You haven’t hooked up with anyone lately, have you?”

Felix shuddered, but didn’t reply. Nick was right. He hadn’t even attempted to get laid recently. Why bother? The women always wanted more from him than he was willing to give, and the rote mechanics of sex bored him lately. “Just get on with it,” he grated out, not in the mood for a psychoanalytical mind-fuck at the moment.

Nick laughed. “Oh no, my friend. My blowjobs are works of art. I am going to go slow, and I am going to drive you out of your fucking mind.”
